Lead Educator
 

We are seeking to employ an experienced Lead Educator to join our experienced and passionate team of Early Childhood professionals. Our Early Learning Centre is conveniently located on the grounds of Genesis Christian College at Bray Park. We are looking for a team member who will share their passion for Early Childhood Education and Care. The successful applicant will need to be supportive of the philosophy and aims of a Christian Independent School and Christian ethos and be willing to embed these values into the curriculum. 

This position is permanent, Part-Time (minimum 2 days/week)

To be successful, you will have:

• A Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care, or be working towards it
• HLTAID012 – First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, Asthma Management certificates 
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card) 
• National Child Safety Training 
• Experience working within an Early Childhood environment
• An understanding of a play-based inquiry program and the National Quality Framework.
• Ability to confidently and effectively communicate with families to build collaborative Educational partnerships
• A strong belief in the importance of ‘deep engagement’ and active supervision in relation to play
• A high degree of enthusiasm and energy to work in outdoor and physical environments
